Viscosity Standards
Brookfield Viscosity Silicone and Oil Standards provide a convenient, reliable way to verify the calibration of your Brookfield laboratory viscometer/rheometer. If you're confused about which standards you need, see our FAQ section.
Brookfield recommends that you replace your viscosity standards on annual basis.
General Purpose Silicone
These fluids are most commonly used to verify calibration of Brookfield lab viscometers/ rheometers and are less temperature sensitive than mineral oils.
General Purpose Oil
These fluids are used for specific instruments using cone/plate or krebs spindle geometry.
High Temperature Silicone Fluids
High Temperature Silicone Fluids are recommended for use with the Brookfield Thermosel accessories.
CAP Oil Fluids
CAP Viscometer Oil Fluids are used for calibrating CAP series viscometers.
Krebs Viscometer Oil Fluids
Krebs Oil Fluids are used for calibrating KU-2 series viscometers.
Special Order Silicone Fluids
These fluids are for our customers needing a non-standard viscosity or a specially defined temperature range.
R/S Rheometer Oil Fluids
These fluids are for use with all R/S Rheometers.
VisCal Kit
The ViscCal Kit provides all the necessary items, in addition to the viscosity standard, to verify calibration of your viscometer/rheometer.
