The Vapor Pro® XL is equipped with an upgraded heater that allows for higher testing temperatures and improved control over testing temperatures throughout the entire range of the instrument.

Redesigned Heater


The new heater has been redesigned so that it heats samples more evenly and efficiently, allowing for more accurate and repeatable test results.

Increased Upper Limit for Testing Temperatures


The redesigned heater increases the upper limit for testing temperatures to 300°C, which is especially important for testing high temperature engineering plastics such as PEI and PEEK. It is also useful for testing various minerals, battery materials and active pharmaceutical ingredients.

Cool Down Fan


The addition of a cool down fan within the instrument helps decrease wait time between tests by actively cooling the heating chamber. This is especially useful when switching from a higher temperature test to a lower temperature test.

Programmable Idle Mode


The programmable idle mode is useful for those wishing to save energy. Users are able to select a period of time after which the instrument will enter idle mode and either cool down or heat up to the previously selected idle temperature.
